Influecing Our Youth

This video explains the importance of after school programs and activities are to the community. It also emphasizes how necessary it is for citizens to give back to the community in order to sustain the standard of life we expect. It will take input from everyone in the community to eliminate gang violence and the bad influences that impact the lives of our youth.

There are after school activities whose missions are to provide a healthy, safe, and productive place for the youth to develop good life skills, sheltered from the many of the dangerous and detrimental influences and temptations.

In the state of California, children have lots of time after school where they can participate in after-school programs, sports programs, and other group activities. Specifically in the neighborhood of Northridge, Los Angeles, there are many sports leagues for children as well as school related after school learning enrichment programs.
